5 star dental practice in Carluke with 5 star treatment from start to finish .No pain and a far different experience at tooth Doctor .Just went through an implant process and tooth doctor and Gerry and indeed all the staff were brilliant .Thank youUpdate Oct 2025- next part of process before final stages seen hygienist 2 weeks ago and now ive just completed next part of process As usual Gerry was brilliant and never felt a thing had a choice of extras to make process more comfortable so chose heated eye gel mask makes you feel relaxed while work being done.Next time ill choose dvd Goggles.Ive my final stage in 3 weeks and so far all has went to plan .The staff in the practice are great they're so helpful and efficient nothing is too much trouble. I'd highly recommend this dentist. Thanks Gerry thanks to staff.im looking forward to my implant work being completed.Update 10th November 2025.Just attended for my checkup after the final stage of my double implant work was completed 2 weeks ago. My 2 new teeth are in situ on the implant and I feel great.Everything was as it should be with my checkup today with a final follow up scheduled for January.Its been a fantastic journey Gerry and Aimee and the girls on reception and hygienist have all been absolutely fantastic.The whole process was painless and comfortable throughout. The aftercare has been second to none.You feel really looked after during the whole mplant process and aftetwards and I will definitely be signing up to one of the inclusive dental packages on offer going forward both plans available are well priced .The ladies on reception are so lovely and always do their best to get you a convenient appointment. Gerrys work is brilliant and he's so knowledgeable about his craft and his expertse is faultless I cannot thank the whole team enough.I would say if you want a seamless,painless,professional dental experience to improve your smile and keep on top of your dental health then this is the place to go to .You won't regret it .They say you only have 2 sets of teeth in your life and when they're gone that's it but there are so many options nowadays so if like me if you want to improve your smile,pain-free with payment options available then dont hesitate just phone or go online now and make an initial appointment .You've nothing to lose and a lot to gain.Thanks again guys your all amazing .Well done .

Can’t thank the team for fitting me so last minute before going away. As always, from checking in at reception to leaving, everyone was amazing! I feel so much better. I want to say a big thank you to Gerry and all his team at Toothdoctor. I have recently had an implant and other dental work carried out by Gerry. I was an anxious patient but Gerry explained everything to me as we went along, so I knew what was happening at each appointment and all my treatment was pain free as promised. I am delighted with my new smile and I highly recommend Gerry and his team to anyone who is thinking about having any dental work carried out.

The service form start to finish was very professional. I lost a tooth due to infection leaving very little bone being advised elsewhere that an implant may not be possible.Gerry the dentist was outstanding and was able to rebuild the bone and place an implant much to my delight.The results of my treatment are amazing and to a very high standard. All the appointments and treatments worked round my work schedule.

I badly needed a new smile which involved quite a bit of work including gum reduction, implants and crowns. I initially looked at dental clinics in Glasgow and further a field, not thinking I could have this work done on my own doorstep. Fortunately I came across The Tooth Doctor. I had an initial consultation with Gerry Skeffington where he took me through the whole treatment plan and timelines. Fast forward a few months and I now have my new smile. I had to have a fairly complex crumbled tooth root extraction, which I must admit I was very worried about, but Gerry and his assistant were excellent and delivered on their 'no pain' commitment. I felt absolutely no pain throughout the extraction even though he had to cut the gum and put stitches in. Even once the anaesthetic had worn off, I still had no pain. Fantastic service, I have no hesitation in recommending The Tooth Doctor and particularly Gerry.

Gerry and his team of highly skilled staff provide an excellent range of services and high quality care. Gerry made me a bespoke 'splint' (which fits my top row of teeth perfectly) and has solved my night-time grinding problem. This has been absolutely brilliant, it fits really well, feels comfortable and has stopped me grinding my teeth through the night. I'm pain free and have no more jaw ache and headaches. Thank you guys!!

Gerry & Amy finished off installing a rear lower implant, yesterday.The whole process was much less painful than previous impants, done elsewhere.The use of 3D scanning rather than having to bite into moulding clay, is IMHO a big leap forward.Having had other failed implants before, I'd highly recommend the Tooth Doctor.

Can't thank Gerry and his dental assistant Aimee enough, absolutely love my new smileAs advertised pain free and the use of the DVD glasses really helped a very anxious patient to relax while the treatment was being carried out.All staff including receptionist and hygienist very professional and friendly. Very professional staff & I've only had good experiences... My 8mplants were put in yesterday & it was expectedly sore, a lot of swelling put the pain has subsideded! Gerry Skeffington is by far the best dentist I've had in my life & genuinely cares about his patients! I'd recommend The Tooth Doctor in Carluke to anyone seeking cosmetic dentistry, you're in safe hands!

Update 2025 - 11 months after initial consultation.I have just completed my round of treatment for my tooth implant with Gerry and the team and it's still 5 stars.From initial consultation through to completion of treatment the communication and service was top notch. They were happy to accommodate date changes for appointments to suit me and the quality of treatment is second to none.I'm very grateful for them making this experience as pain free and comfortable as they could.Thanks guys!

I had lots of work done with Gerry and Aimee who were absolutely amazing with me, I was absolutely petrified prior to my first visit and from that visit on they done absolutely everything they could to make me at ease and calm during any treatments/ consultations.I hated my smile and never ever smiled in any pictures prior to my treatments. After much patience from Gerry and Aimee I am now soooo much more confident and actually find myself smiling 😃. So I am now not bothered by dental visits I actually have my confidence back tooSo thank you thank you thank you to you both for your ongoing patience with my tears and anxiety.Amazing team from reception to treatments ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ all the way

Started off with a baby tooth being extracted, followed by a temporary bridge then an implant. So glad I went for implant as far superior to bridge, no movement when chewing and feels and looks completely natural. Can't thank Gerry and his team enough for their care, first class.

I went to tooth doctor as I had missing teeth & wanted an alternative to dentures. Spoke to Corinne who was fantastic. She made up a plan. After x-rays I was told by Gerry my best option was a full arch implant bridge. I wasn’t sure at first but so glad I went ahead with it. I definitely smile more & feelmore confident.Gerry explained every step to me. I was well looked after by him & Aimee throughout.I looked up tooth doctor a few years before I went. I do wish I had gone sooner. If you are thinking about it you can go for a complementary consultation. Don’t be like me and keep putting it off.Gerry did the work with the pain free promise.
